When will we tame the oceans?
Article Abstract:
The US National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration proposed a legislation to expand fish farming in US federal waters up to 200 miles from the coast, and to increase the numbers of species that could be farmed. For this purpose the ways in which domestication should take place, so that it is managed in ways that maintain environmental health and sustainability is presented.

George is a giant male tortoise living in the Charles Darwin Research Station (CDRS) in Puerto Ayora. The unsuccessful attempts for finding a mate for George are discussed.
