White Sands rescue on again

Article Abstract:

The plan to capture wild horses from the White Sands Missile Range and prepare for them adoption will push through in 1995. The US Army plan, developed in response to a severe drought in the area, was cancelled in 1994 because of protests against the use of inmates as temporary caregivers.
