Benjamin Millepied states that he is lucky to have had training in African and modern dance under his mother before discovering ballet as it has proved to be an additional component for him as a dancer and choreographer. His focus is now on refining every aspect of his dance and find out how to make his dance look more and more effortless and make the positions more beautiful.

Peter Schabel on Jerome Robbins
Article Abstract:
Peter Schabel studied at the school of American Ballet and performed with Bejart's ballet, of the twentieth century, Royal Winnepeg Ballet, and Boston Repertory Ballet who taught at the Harkness Ballet School Steps, Theater dance, and David Howard dance center. He directed both the scholarship, training and young students programs and coached the Broadway production of cats.
