The new Ford Five Hundred and Mercury Montego, a family car, which offers reasonable fuel mileage, decent power and plenty of room for passengers and cargo and both, differ in only grilles and head and taillights. Both cars are based on the new Ford Freestyle crossover, which itself is based on Volvo's P2 platform and use identical suspension settings.
