The buying of a 1989 5.0 Mustang LX Sport with 95,000 miles on the odometer is described. The Mustangs of the late 1960s and 1980s were favorites, and when a good model was found in the back of a used-car lot, the temptation was too great. Alterations are underway on what has become a modern hot rod.
