Article Abstract:
Gregg was a racing legend during the 1970s, winning three times consecutively at the 24 Hours of Daytona and five IMSA Camel GT championships. Gregg had a reputation for being tyrannical and moody, and his life-long struggle with manic depression resulted in his suicide in 1980.

Johnson developed his driving skills as a moonshine runner in North Carolina, and he went on to win 50 races as a stock car driver. He and his crew have built cars that have won 130 competitions of the National Association for Stock Car Automobile racing.
