The CPA Australia's strategies to make the accounting profession recognized internationally by helping the Royal Government of Bhutan in financial management, signing a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS), extending the services of accounting profession in China are discussed.

The president of CPA Australia Dr. Ken Levy, is of belief that the consequences of Australia's business owners becoming old and their exit from the business may have an impact over the economy of the country. The government is suggested to make policies that cover the affects related to business exits.
