Because Australia has so many areas of uninhabitable land, the figures concerning its population density, and its industrial land use, are misleading. Less than 5% of Australia's vacant industrial land is capable of being developed immediately, and economic growth, as well as various infrastucture changes can stimulate the demand for even more industrial land.
