Stealing Plastic Money - Big Business
Article Abstract:
Credit card fraud is prevalent, and can cost the card companies a great deal of money. The credit card companies are increasing security measures against theft and fraud. Losses account for less than one per cent of volume. Many cards are either stolen or counterfeited. Besides security measures in new card design, the credit card industry is trying to gain legislative support. Consumers should take their own security steps to protect their cards.
