Taking it to the limit
Article Abstract:
A survey by the Australian Stock Exchange shows that in the year 2000, 40% of all Australian shareholders had direct holdings. The new breed of direct shareholders tends to work through an accountant rather than a stockbroker, and there is disagreement over the legal limit on the amount of advice an accountant can give on investment issues.
