A retinoic acid-Hox hierarchy controls both anterior/posterior patterning and neuronal specification in the developing central nervous system of the cephalochordate amphioxus
Article Abstract:
Using a study on chordate amphioxus, the role of retinoic acid signaling in regulating collinear Hox gene expression and function of retinoic acid-Hox hierarchy, in anterior-posterior patterning and neuronal specification of the vertebrate central nervous system, is analyzed.
