An EM algorithm for mapping quantitative resistance loci
Article Abstract:
A maximum likelihood method to map the quantitative resistance loci (QRL) is developed and implemented via a multicycle expectation-conditional-maximation (ECM) algorithm under the threshold model. The result showed that it estimates both the QRL effects and the thresholds that link the disease liability and the categorical phenotype.
