An unusual phylogeography in the bushcricket: Ephippiger ephippiger from southern France
Article Abstract:
A study to examine the intraspecific phylogeography of Western European samples of E. Ephippiger is conducted as evidence indicates that bushcricket Ephippiger ephippiger has unusual patterns of intraspecific variation in multiple traits resulting from secondary contact after differentiation in Pleistocene refugia. A minimum evolution time showed little resolution between described subspecies of E. ephigger.

Detecting population structure using STRUCTURE software: effect of background linkage disequilibrium
Article Abstract:
Full dataset and the program STRUCTURE are used to detect the two subpopulations in the Kerguelen mouflon population. The result demonstrates how strong background linkage disequilibrium leads STRUCTURE to over estimate the number of clusters on a population genetic structure analysis.
