Article Abstract:
The number of PhDs and the focus of their education are out of balance with job prospects and career expectation with the rising number of fresh life science PhDs, fewer tenure track position open, and bulging ranks of increasingly frustrated postdoctors. Career disappointment for postdoctors is not just about finding an appropriate job, but it is about finding a job that is rewarding.
