BRCA1 and BRCA2 testing: weighing the demand against the benefits
Article Abstract:
Research on the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes has helped medical scientists target female populations susceptible to ovarian and breast cancer, but the data are unable to determine conclusively which individuals will actually develop cancer. This raises the ethical issue of whether it is psychologically helpful or harmful to provide this information to women within the risk demographic.

A powerful and flexible multilocus association test for quantitative traits
Article Abstract:
A new approach based on multilocus association test for studying the quantitative traits using genetic information is discussed. The methodology is found to be extremely powerful and flexible, as it helps in obtaining a proper understanding of the covariates.
