Filamentous "Epsilonproteobacteria" dominate microbial mats from sulfidic cave springs
Article Abstract:
The authors have investigated bacterial communities from filamentous microbial mats from sulfidic cave springs. They have identified distinct epsilonproteobacterial filament groups within the microbial mats in the cave via the use of the full-cycle rRNA approach including quantitative fluorescence in situ hybridization.

Fluorescent heteroduplex assay for monitoring Bacillus anthracis and close relatives in environmental samples
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on Bacillus anthracis. The authors report the detection of B. anthracis and its close relatives in environmental samples via the use of fluorescent heteroduplex method applied to analysis of amplified rDNA.
