Growing technology in Winston-Salem
Article Abstract:
Winston-Salem, the fourth largest city of North Carolina has taken some new major steps to rebuild its technology economy after the decline of the traditional manufacturing sectors like textiles, tobacco and furniture. The community should smartly deploy all its resources to maximize profit and should also create new employment opportunities for its people, who should be well educated and informed about the developments and competitions of the world.

The state of industrial research
Article Abstract:
The growing biological opportunities in agricultural and natural products has made North Carolina a hub for new industrial research, as it rejuvenates the traditional fields and spurs new ones. The analysis reveals that though the state has replaced its agricultural economy with its new manufacturing units, farming and crop science still remain the powerful elements of advancing technology in the state.

The three governors of North Carolina made major contributions in the development of biotechnology in the state by laying the foundations of various committees and organizations. They led to the creation of several organizations, which further helped the state in expanding its research enterprises and biomanufacturing.
