High ponderal index at birth predicts high estradiol levels in adult women
Article Abstract:
A study to show that ponderal index at birth predicts high estradiol levels in adult women is presented. Conditions during fetal life influence adult production of reproductive hormones and may contribute to inter-individual variation in reproductive function and there is a physiological link for the observed positive relationship between indicators of energetic conditions during fetal growth and breast cancer in women.

Index-to-ring finger length ratio (2D:4D) predicts levels of salivary estradiol, but not progesterone, over the menstrual cycle
Article Abstract:
The relationship between the index-to-ring finger length ratio (2D:4D) and ovarian steroid hormone levels measured over the course of a menstrual cycle was analyzed using the saliva samples of 38 young women. The levels of estradiol showed positive correlation with the 2D:4D ratios of the right hand but the progesterone levels could not be predicted.

Effects of developmental and adult androgens on male abdominal adiposity
Article Abstract:
An examination was conducted to distinguish effects of androgen on total fat mass, specifically abdominal deposition bias using statistical interactions. Results provide suggestive and preliminary evidence of as role of prenatal androgens in the abdominal fatness of middle-aged men.
