How the sperm lost its tail: The evolution of aflagellate sperm
Article Abstract:
The mating system of the taxi and their nearest sister taxi from a group of 36 taxonomic, which was revealed by the literature review, included from red algae to fish were found independently to have evolved aflagellate sperm. An analysis of the sister-group provided weak evidence suggesting that the evolution of aflagellate sperm could be linked to the removal of selective pressures generated by sperm competition.

Sexual selection research on spiders
Article Abstract:
A discussion that research on sexual selection in spiders has been biased towards modalities that are easily accessible to the human observer is presented. Although the research has progressed since Darwin, whose spider examples are reanalyzed in the context of contemporary knowledge, the same biases and methodological constraints have persisted almost unchanged through the current boom of research.

Darwinian aesthetics: sexual selection and the biology of beauty
Article Abstract:
The mate preferences are mainly cued on visual, vocal and chemical cues that reveal health including developmental health. It is concluded that it is not the standards that show evidence of convergence- it is the rules or how we construct beauty ideals that have universalities across cultures
