Identification and characterization of a tandem repeat in exon III of the dopamine receptor D4 (DRD4) gene in cetaceans
Article Abstract:
A dopamine receptor D4 (DRD4) gene exon III tandem repeat from the order cetacea is identified and characterized. The species in the study came in from four different families with both suborders being represented that is, Odontoceti (white-beaked dolphin, harbor porpoise and sperm whale) and Mysticeti (minke whale).

Mitochondrial DNA diversity and population structure among southern right whales (Eubalaena australis)
Article Abstract:
The mitochondrial DNA diversity of southern right whales shows 37 unique haplotypes. The haplotype diversity in southern Atlantic is attributed to the gene flow between adjacent calving grounds.
