Intra- and interindividual epigenetic variation in human germ cells
Article Abstract:
A study of comprehensive analysis of DNA methylation variation between and within the germlines of normal males is performed. Evidence for significant epigenetic variability in human germ cells is given, which warrants future research to determine whether such epigenetic patterns could be effectively transmitted across generations and what impact inherited epigenetic individuality which may have no phenotypic outcomes in health and disease.

The fine-scale and complex architecture of human copy-number variation
Article Abstract:
A high-resolution array-based comparative genomic hybridization technique is employed to explain the fine-scale and the complex architecture of the human copy-number variants (CNVs). The total genomic content of the human CNVs is found to be much lesser than what was estimated earlier.

Epigenomic profiling reveals DNA-methylation changes associated with major psychosis
Article Abstract:
The technique of epigenomic profiling is employed to study the various DNA-methylation changes in the frontal cortex and germline that are associated with major psychosis. These changes are found to be extremely significant for the etiology of schizophrenia and other bipolar disorders.
