Is the in situ accessibility of the 16S rRNA of Escherichia coli for Cy3-labeled oligonucleotide probes predicted by a three-dimensional structure model of the 30S ribosomal subunit?
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on Escherichia coli 16S rRNA. The authors have compared the in situ accessibility of this rRNA for Cy3-labeled oligonucleotide probes with the 30S ribosomal subunit's 3D-structure model, and describe the effect of fixation methods and hybridization procedures on 16S rRNA in situ accessibility fo E. coli.

In situ accessibility of Saccharomyces cerevisiae 26S rRNA to Cy3-labeled oligonucleotide probes comprising the D1 and D2 domains
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on D1 and D2 domains in the 26S rRNA. The authors describe the evaluation of the domains' accessibility to fluorescently labeled probes carried out via the use of Saccharomyces cerevisiae as a model.
