Localization of white spotting locus in boxer dogs on CFA20 by genome-wide linkage analysis with 1500 SNPs
Article Abstract:
The analysis of the new technique of single-nulceotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of the genome is presented. These were found to be spaced at an average distance of 1.6 Mb and are highly informative in linkage analysis of monogenic traits as well as are a powerful alternative to microsatellite markers.

Canine DNA Subjected to Whole Genome Amplification is Suitable for a Wide Range of Molecular Applications
Article Abstract:
Whole genome amplification (WGA) is found to be a useful tool for increasing canine DNA quantities for research. DNA was drawn from 93 blood samples and 18 buccal swab samples, and a comparison of WGA product and genomic DNA is performed.
