Onset of the release of spermatozoa (spermarche) in Chinese male youth
Article Abstract:
Research of the onset of spermarche in Chinese Han and ethnic males is presented. The median spermarcheal ages are compared between youths from rural, urban, eastern, western, northern and southern environments to evaluate if there are environmental aspects involved in the onset of male puberty in China.

Age at spermarche and comparison of growth and performance of pre- and post-spermarcheal Chinese boys
Article Abstract:
Body size, physique, physiological function and motor ability have been studied in 86,744 Chinese Han boys 9-18 years of age, classified as pre- or post-spermarcheal. The effect of urban versus rural residence and socioeconomic class on median spermarcheal age was also examined.

A study on the geographical differences in physiques of male youth of in the age group of 18 - 20 years in China is presented. The measurements taken into consideration included height, weight and body mass index.
