Quantitative trait loci for thermotolerance phenotypes in Drosophila melanogaster
Article Abstract:
A mapping population of recombinant inbred lines to map quantitative trait loci underlying variation in both heat and cold stress resistance was used to understand and identify the genes controlling thermotolerance phenotypes. It was suggested that overlapping but generally unique genetic architectures underlied resistance to low and high temperature extremes.

Advances in Bayesian multiple quantitative trait loci mapping in experimental crosses
Article Abstract:
The article discusses the various developments in the Bayesian techniques for mapping of the multiple quantitative trait loci (QTL) in different experimental crosses. The QTL methods are found to be extremely beneficial for determining the different complex human diseases and traits of biological and economic importance.
