Recent genetic selection in the ancestral admixture of Puerto Ricans
Article Abstract:
A novel approach for studying selection by examining the genomewide distribution of ancestry in the genetically admixed Puerto Ricans is presented. It is concluded that as opposed to nonadmixed, admixed populations offer novel and complementary information about complex interactions involving both genes and environment.

The structure of common genetic variation in United States populations
Article Abstract:
The article examines the structure of common genetic variants by resequencing and measuring common single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) among the United States population. The common single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) differed in frequency among the populations.
