Spectrin repeat proteins in the nucleus
Article Abstract:
Spectrin repeat sequences are among the more common repeat elements identified in proteins, typically occurring in large structural proteins. An overview of work regarding various spectrin repeat-containing structural proteins in the nucleus is presented.

PAR proteins and the establishment of cell polarity during C. elegans development
Article Abstract:
Studies that began in the nematode C. elegans have identified a group of largely conserved proteins called PAR proteins. These proteins play key roles in the polarization of many different cell types.

Analyzing protein-protein interactions in cell membranes
Article Abstract:
A set of novel approaches to measure the number of protein-protein interactions in cell membranes are put forth. A study of the location and extent of interaction between the proteins is lined out.
