Structure of the bovine mitochondrial F (sub)1 -ATPase with nucleotide bound to all three catalytic sites: implications for the mechanism of rotary catalysis
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on the aluminum fluoride inhibited form of the bovine mitochondrial F (sub)1 -ATPase. The crystal structure of this aluminum fluoride inhibited form has been determined and the results indicate that its catalytic sites are occupied by the nucleotide.
