Use of Bifidobacterium dentium as an indicator of the origin of fecal water pollution
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on fecal water pollution origin. The discrimination between human and animal fecal pollution has been carried out via Bifidobacterium dentium species detected in samples, and the authors describe two 16S rRNA gene-targeted probes, and demonstrate that one of the probes can be used for human fecal pollution detection.

Use of antibiotic resistance analysis for representativeness testing of multiwatershed libraries
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on relatioship between the antibiotic resistance analysis libraries and their representativeness. The authors describe the efforts to determine whether the libraries from different watersheds can be merged to create multiwatershed libraries which are temporally stable and georgaphically representative.
