A capabilities perspective on the effects of early internalization on firm survival and growth
Article Abstract:
The action of delaying the internalization of start-up firms has both advantages and disadvantages. It is argued that the survival and growth of firms are differently affected by internalization depending on a variety of factors such as organizational age, managerial experience and resource interchangeability.

Coercion and care are two formations that play a prominent role in organization and management studies (OMS) and the implications of the conceptual opposition between the two are explored. An ironic approach is used to develop a perspective that extends the understanding of organizational surveillance.
