Cartels are common in Australia and Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has conducted about 12 cartel cases a year. Cartels continue to exist because they are hugely profitable. Directors and executives should give their employees a chance to report their involvement in a cartel in order to protect their companies. And ACCC should be notified of any employee report.
