A longitudinal examination of how champions influence others to support their projects
Article Abstract:
Champions use cooperative tactics rather than confrontational tactics to gett projects done, but the tactics that champions use only partly explain the reason they get enough support for their projects. Champions' influence on people tend to be boosted if they enjoy positive interpersonal relationships with team members and if their positive outlook tends to influence those of other team members.

Technical professionals in cross-functional teams: their quality of work life
Article Abstract:
Work in cross functional teams is found to provide a positive effect in job growth, job satisfaction, job security, membership in successful teams and earning money. Results also show that there is a weak relationship between job demands and working in cross-functional teams, and there is no conclusive relationship supporting cross-functional team membership and time pressure.
