A simple approach to forecasting correlated products

Most forecast systems allow a user to do top-down and bottom-up forecasting and this type of functionality are leveraged by the simple approach. The simple way to forecast correlated products can be applied when demand for one or more special products may change for some abnormal reasons that are expected to impact the demand for other products.
