A waste of foreign aid
Article Abstract:
If overseas students are helped to stay on a while, then a lot of value could be added to their contributions to Australia. The contributions of international students to Australia's economic performance is already considered substantial and it is suggested that the long-term gains could be even greater, if a way is found to facilitate their contribution to Australian companies' efforts to break into global markets.
