AMP faces tough job with unhappy clients
Article Abstract:
AMP Asset Management is in danger of losing up to half of its $3 billion of funds under management in Schroders Property, because Schroders' private and syndicate clients have only short-term management agreements. AMP's task is to convince the 15 unit-holders in the Schroders Private Property Syndicate and large private clients to retain AMP as its manager. Jack Ritch, directory of property for AMP, says AMP has been in touch with Schroders' clients.
