Article Abstract:
Stocks in the advertising industry have outperformed the market and have become timely in 1999, and this is expected to continue into the year 2000. Many advertising agencies are branching out into new disciplines and media in response to client needs, and industry growth through mergers and acquisitions is also expected to continue. Value investors may need to seek stocks elsewhere, but this industry is suited for those who are momentum oriented.
