Ford is starting a big campaign to establish a common image for its sport utility vehicles

The Ford Motor. Co. is preparing a new ad campaign for its sport utility vehicles that will be one of the largest campaigns ever in the industry. The company wants to establish a common brand identity for its sport utility models to contain advertising costs, and will advertise these vehicles as a group, as well as individually, including its giant new Excursion model. The campaign, which will use television, print and Internet ads, uses a new slogan, 'no boundaries.' The campaign, for which Ford has not disclosed its budget, was created by the J. Walter Thompson agency.
