An empirical study of the benefits and costs of ISO 9001: 2000 compared to ISO 9001/2/3: 1994
Article Abstract:
A study of the motivation factors, challenges, advantages and costs of ISO 9001: 2000 and ISO 9001/2/3: 1994 is presented. Findings of the survey carried out indicate that the impact of the new standard on companies with regard to motivation factors and challenges encountered are very similar to the old one with only some differences existing in terms of the benefits and costs of such implementation.

An empirical study of QS 9000 in the automobile and related industries in Taiwan
Article Abstract:
Automotive manufacturers could offer superior products and good services to customers by applying quality system standard. The results of the surveys of automotive companies in Taiwan that have failed and succeeded in Qs 9000 are presented. The study provides a reference guide for the automotive industry in pursuing QS 9000 and procuring maximum benefit from the results.
