The Senate passed a bill that authorizes the government to spend $1.8 billion on anti-terrorism programs in the US and abroad. The bill also makes terrorism a federal crime, increases the penalties for US terrorists, and speeds up the deportation process for foreign terrorists.

Senate passes liability suit limits
Article Abstract:
A proposed law on limiting liability suits was passed by the Senate on May 10, 1995, and its provisions were more acceptable to members than those in the original form of the bill. The Senate bill will be reconciled with a similar bill passed by the House for final approval.
