Auditing after Enron: reshaping the investor information value chian
Article Abstract:
The Enron case is found to be a holistic problem needed a solution for every part of a chain of events. The authors suggest that auditors be selected by a panel of shareholders, that they add value to their reports by discussing problems encountered, and that they leverage their knowledge of the business by authoritative reporting.
