The budget airline Jetstar that will begin flying in May 2004 will increase airline seat capacity to the Whitsunday Islands by 40%. The Whitsunday tourist operators are looking forward for Jetstars arrival and are happy with Qantas's decision to include Hamilton Island as a destination for Jetstar.
