Becoming a metapreneur
Article Abstract:
When businesses emphasize organizational aspects of corporations, the result is analytical management; when businesses emphasize people over organization, the result could be a new concept, here referred to as the 'metapreneur'. The organizations that employ metapreneur management styles are referred to as 'metaprises'. These managers and companies concentrate on the human aspects of organizations, identified as thinking, feeling and doing, in order to develop new methods of leadership. Leadership styles can be classified by the leader's activity; there are leaders who are doers, feelers, thinkers, 'willpowers', organizers, intuiters, or creators. All forms of leadership (and management) are required by metaprises. The organizational structure of the metaprise, examples of metapreneurial leadership and developing metapreneurs are discussed.

Various approaches to the problem of matching marketing strategies to culture are discussed. Market planners and strategic analysts need to be sensitized more to the corporate environment and its harsher realities.
