Business process re-engineering: a case study of a developmental approach
Article Abstract:
Learning-based alternatives to business process re-engineering (BPR) can alleviate post-implementation difficulties associated with BPR. Alternatives include dispersal of development agendas to non-management staff, which prepares employees for change and trains them in problem-solving. These alternatives should be internalized, so that expectations and objectives coincide.

Article Abstract:
Seven methods for customer involvement in product development are examined with special methods presented that emphasis design for customers, design with customers and design by customers. Different methods involve the customer at different phases, particularly the specification phase, concept development and the prototyping phases.
