Article Abstract:

Four cases of sick tax debtor, a 16-year-old tax debt, an unregistered car dealer and the personally liable director are studied and their results are presented. The sick tax debtor's case as well as the 16-year-old tax debt case were settled after the intervention of the commonwealth ombudsman while the unregistered car dealer's case demonstrated the debt-collection powers of the commissioner.
