Computer software & services
Article Abstract:
Many of the fears surrounding the year 2000 (Y2K) situation seem to have been eliminated, or at least lessened, and the computer software and services industry will be slightly affected. The US government was won the first round of the antitrust litigation with Microsoft, with indeterminable results, but the future of the computer software industry seems bright. Many of these stocks are timely for investors in 1999 and the year 2000, and a large number have appreciation potential for the next three to five years.

Article Abstract:
The year 2001 is expected to be disappointing for the computer services and computer software industries, but the prospects for the future are considered excellent. Business use of the Internet and an improved US economy are the main factors for the more positive outlook. Investors will find several good issues in these industries for 2001 and the next three to five years.

Computer software & services
Article Abstract:
Slow economic conditions and demand for computer software and services has created a difficult situation for these industries in the year 2001. There should be an economic recovery, however, in 2002, and prospects for long-term growth are good. Several of these equities are timely for 2001, and others have good appreciation value over the next three to five years.
