The recent dip in stock prices on Australian stock markets should not be interpreted by investors as a cause for worry. The fundamentals of economy are still quite strong, and stock markets are likely to lose steam only in case of some unanticipated happening like commodity price slump. For now, the dip in stock prices during March 2006 should be interpreted as correction and in line with trends for the month every year.
