Decision Analysis for Small Business
Article Abstract:
Decision analysis is shown as an important tool of the small business manager. Decision analysis is shown to be an extension of the entrepreneur's problem solving style. Decision analysis is also shown to increase understanding of decision making problems and to be not too time consuming. Employment of decision analysis allows the small business manager to see risk an alternatives. The decision analysis approach also helps the entrepreneur see the effects of alternatives on future outcomes. Decision analysis encourages communication.

Article Abstract:
A decision-support system is a computer which helps managers make decisions by allowing rearrangement of information. Benefits of this system included better communication, time savings, cost savings, and information control. Considerations regarding the feasibility of this system for smaller businesses are outlined.
