Situation-dependent services-a challenge for mobile network operators
Article Abstract:
The situation dependency is a new concept to adopt mobile commerce applications according to the spatial, personal, and temporal context in which the user accesses a service and structures of the tasks that are necessary to obtain a situation description are also defined. The organizational and technical aspects as well as security issues of the situation dependency concept, which provides a scenario for its implementation, are discussed.

The effects of country characteristics, cultural similarity and adoption timing on the diffusion of wireless communications
Article Abstract:
A model is constructed that examines the effect of the three factors on the diffusion of wireless communication in 64 countries. The role of culture in diffusion seems to be two-fold, and the country effect was found to explain the adoption year and the market potential, and the time effect was the most important predictor for the rate of diffusion.
