Do others think you have a viable business idea? Team diversity and judges' evaluation of ideas in a business plan competition
Article Abstract:
A study, to analyze how diversity in characteristics of team members determines external assessment of the viability of the team's business idea, is overviewed. The findings, showing that task-related diversity in characteristics, like education, has a positive bearing upon external evaluation, while non-task diversities, like age and employment status, have a negative bearing, are detailed.
