Dollar dazzler

A panel of Australian economists believes that the Australian dollar is performing as it should, and that improved exports resulting from a 2000 fall in the dollar's value, are helping the dollar to rally despite the downturn in the US economy. The value of exports is expected to rise by approximately 8.2% because of floating exchange rates.
